Positional analytical method is used for long term trading and the analysis is made for a long period of time. Whereas Intraday analysis is used for intraday trading which needs to be done on the same day. Therefore positional methods cannot be followed in intraday analysis.

Moving average is a trend indicator which works during trending. If the current price is above average then the trend is Bullish. If the price is below average then the trend is Bearish.

RSI – Relative Strength Index and it works in non trending time. If the RSI is greater than 70 then the stock is over bought. If the RSI is lesser than 30 then the stock is over sold.
