Piercing pattern the body should cover the previous day low, Today’s body should cover at least 50% mark of previous body and the upper tail should not be very big.
we can buy when it comes to bullish piercing pattern and sell when it goes to bearish piercing pattern.

Engulfing pattern is reversal pattern.
BUY – The Bullish body should cover the previous day bear body. The slight increase in trading volume is expected during any the last two days.
SELL – The Bearish body should cover the previous day bull body. The slight increase in trading volume is expected during any the last two days.

Dow Theory is a Technical Analysis of stock market. It is studies demand and supply of volume to find out the market trend.
We need the inputs of previous stock status in Line charts upto 2 years. It is better for analyse to find out when to Buy or Sell.
When demand is greater than supply then buy, when supply is greater than demand then sell.
