Stock market is a place where shares of Public ltd companies are traded. Before trading, an investor will open a Demat a/c with broker/sub broker as a mediator of BSE/NSE exchange. Investor can buy and sell the shares through the a/c. Companies are listing, capitalizing funds through IPO/FPO for expansion without paying any interest to the investor but providing equity ownership to Public. Buyer and Seller will decide the price on the basis of supply / demand on futuristic view of the company. Share holders have a right elect CEO by vote to run the company and CEO will appoint Board of Directors to run the business. SEBI is the regulator body which plays a vital role in maintaining stability of financial market, attracting FIIs and protecting Investors as well.
