‘Stock market’ is the place where Stocks are traded ( bought or sold). Primary market is where the companies sell their IPO & Secondary market is where the holders exchange their Stocks. Investment is long term or short term ( ranging from 1 month to few years). Stocks are Swing ( few days) , intraday( within a day) or Scalping( few minutes) . SEBI regulates the Trading.
