Gap usually appears due to the overnight speculation, generally expected to be filled as there may be correction. These gaps can be used to analysis the strength and weakness of the market and decide on our positions. If the gap is filled or volume is low it can be ignored. However gaps like breakout and runaway have to be speculated.
