Pros : helpful in gaining in-depth knowledge about 1 particular company
Cons : Costly, Not helpful for retail investors
Pro – It helps to analyse / study a particular company in detail and the factors affecting the price from one sector to another sector or a company to other company or an industry to another industry
Cons – It is unable to follow and do all the analysis and doing quantitative analysis is not enough, we should do the qualitative analysis which is time consuming and takes lot of efforts and money which only top companies can afford to do that analysis and it will not help retail investors.
pros- provides clear information on a company’s futures earning perspective which enables the investors to have a positive outlook for a better potential in earnings.
cons- not accessible for everyone and requires accounting knowledge
Pros- This gives a solid data on how the markets will react to a particular stocks and hence its more reliable to trade based on this analysis.
Cons- These data are not available for common people, hence cannot be put into practice by all.
Pros : Markets are usually driven by fundamental factors over the long term.
Investors know that they are investing in fundamentally sound companies because they have done their ‘due dilgence’ analysis.
Cons : Fundamental analysis can be hard work and be overly complicated. Fundamental analysis comes from the company itself and assumptions have to be made that the company is providing accurate and true information.
