    Company has give a advertisement to public IPO for need a more capital to develop the company, who is interested to buy the shares of that company he will give the filled application form along with DD to buy the shares document these are all the primary market activity.

    Stock market is called secondary market, once retailers are purchased the stocks then he want a refund, he will contact with stock market to transfer the stocks to other retailer this is made second time. so it is called secondary market.

    PRIMARY MARKET : deals with issuer (COMPANY) and buyer… only you can buy

    SECONDARY MARKET : deals with seller and buyer..you can trade shares (BUYING and SELLING)
