    when we buy a asset and sells over a period one year and above it is termed as a investment. trading is nothing but buy an asset and sell within a year is known as trading

    Investment–is the term of long term objective over a period of more than a year,,the investor buy the stocks & hold it for more then a year…
    Trading–is the term of short term objective for a period even less than a day,,the trader buy & sell the stocks when the stock rate is gone below the previous low price..

    *Investment is done with a long term view; Quality of the company, appreciation of share price over the period  & other fundamentals has to be studied before making an investment.

    *Trading is in which the price movement is given more weightage than any other. The aim is to make money in a specified time; So buy – hold – dispose within the predetermined  time period either with a profit or at a stop loss.

    Investments- It is made with a intention to sell stocks on a long term basis by holding stocks more than one year.

    Trading- It is made with a intention to sell the stock within a short period (within one week or one month)
