    Area gap- Gap occurs in non trending zone  with low volume.
    Breakout-Appears during beginning of new trend(in trending zone) -high volume
    Runway- Gap appears after breakout area-normal volume.
    Exhaustion- Market open with gap and close on same day with high volume.

    area gap:gap may be filled in near term, volume on gap day is generally low.

    break out gap: gap may not be filled in near term, volume on gap day should be high.

    run away gap:gap may not be filled in near term, volume must be evenly distributed on the gap day, market close should be days high.

    exhaustion gap: gap is filled on same day,volume should high to exit the existing trend, market close should be days low

    Area gap:

    When a gap appears in the non-trending zone,it is called area gap. It will soon be filled. Volume is low.

    Breakout gapay

    when a gap breaks out of the sideway movement and heads for a new trend ,it is called breakout gap.

    volume is high.It will not be filled in near term.

    Runaway gap:

    When the gap appears following the same trend,it is called runaway gap.It shows the sellers are running away and buyers are buying.The area will not be filled.Volume will be low.

    Exhaustion gap:

    The stock opens with a gap from previous closing.But does not manage to move forward.The gap is filled with selling by the end of the day.Volume is low.

    Gap determines the strength of the trend.

    Area gap   : The Gap which occurs in the non trending area. The gap is most likely to get filled.

    Breakout gap : Gap occurring when moving out of the non trending area. This also symbolizes the trend is bullish. There should be good amount of volume.

    Run away gap :The gap formed after a breakout gap showcasing that the buyers are aggressive or lack of sellers.

    Exhaustion gap : The run away gap being filled within a day or two. This indicates there will be a bearish trend from here on.
