Stock trading takes place in Exchange; broker who certified by the exchanges plays an inter mediator for Investor & Exchange.
Brokers will take sole responsibility for counter party risk to Exchange.
Exchanges is responsible for trading settlement; any issue’s in trade settlement; it’s sole responsibility of the exchange.
Traders use brokers terminal for trading; and brokers will place traders orders in exchanges.
Buy & Sell are two types of orders in Stock Trading which intern diversified into Long, Short, Long Unwinding, Short Covering.
Traders can buy & sell in different exchanges subject to limitation.
