When buyer and seller want to trade stocks, broker will act as a agent
Once buyer and seller ready for trade, broker will send the request to exchange.

Stock exchanges makes brokers responsible for the traders orders.
If any order is placed, they make sure transparency in the trade.

It is possible to buy stocks from BSE and sell on NSE and viceversa.
Only condition that particular stock should be listed on both NSE and BSE and buyers and sellers should be present for trade to happen.
If i try to buy stock at high price, then I will placed front of the buyer queue and will give priority over buyers who quoted lesser price.

Positional trading: When stocks were bought for overnight position and may be held week, month or years ..then it becomes positional trading.

Intraday trading is nothing but stocks were bought and sold on the same day.

If a trader feels stock prices go down, then they may the sell the stock before buying.
