BASICS OF DOW THEORY

Dow Theory is made to understand and follow the market by following the demand and supply. It is represented by a line chart, and requires minimum of 2 years prior data, the line chart is classified into tops and bottoms and further classified into higher tops, higher bottom and lower top, lower bottom. Even though it only shows the direction, it doesnot show the price behaviour. The trend is good for long term investment.
