Stock market:- If a company needs more capital (100c), they go to SEBI for IPO. Then they do ad to reach people about their business, interested retail investors will buy shares from them, in the primary market. If retail investors want to sell the shares, then he/she will sell at share market(secondary market).
SEBI:- regulates the securities of share market in INDIA
NSE, BSE:- Two popular stock exchanges where stocks exchanges occurred and recorded
NSDL, CDSL:- Who maintains Demat account
Broker:- the Only broker will do buy/sell with stock exchanges on behalf of retail investors.
Director – Captain of the Ship, Stockholders – owners of the ship, Promoters – promoted/promoting the ship, Company – Ship
Face value:- Initial price value of a share will change on a split, Dividend:- profit, Bonus:- a bonus from profit
Business:- Risk > Profit
