Stock Market is a place to buy and sell shares safely which is controlled by SEBI. There are two main exchanges under SEBI, BSE and NSE. People cant buy shares directly from BSE and NSE. One should register with broker or sub broker of SEBI. A company sells the shares for the first time is called IPO or primary market and further trading is called secondary market. Person who buy shares are called share holders and who raise the capital for a company is called Promoter and person who is responsible of business execution and decisions are called director. Share Holders cannot ask for bonus and dividend but he/she has the rights to sell their shares to other investor.
