Stock market is the place where buyers and sellers meet to exchange the stocks
To exchange the stocks we need a place and it is stock market
We have Vegetable markets, Electronic markets and so on where we buy/sell the product physically but in stock market
we dont have have any products but we trade the stocks
SEBI looks for Transparency of a company before it enters the Primary Market. Its role is like an intermediary
between Traders and Stock Exchange to handle any stock issues
Share Holder- The person who owns the stock
Promoter- Person who runs the business but necessary to own the company
indexes
NIFTY- It is average of top 50 stocks which tells growth of economy
Sensex- It is average of top 30 stocks

    Your Question 1 :: How the difference came for Nifty and Sensex?
    NIFTY and Sensex are stock market indices that indicate the strength of the market. There’s no difference in the performance but NIFTY is considered to have a more diversified portfolio than Sensex because of high liquidity.

    Your Question 2 :: What will happen to shareholders if the company closes
    if the company decides to delist from the stock market then the company will announce its delisting price. existing shareholders can sell their shares to the company itself at the delisting price.
