Intraday analysis requires you to follow market trend with the demand & supply and volume & price, whereas in positional analysis as the stock are going to held for a little longer along with market trend, demand&supply and price & volume and certain qualitative and quantitative aspects of the companies.
The positional analytical methods are for positional traders who hold the stock for a minimum period of a week, whereas in intraday due to frequent price fluctuations and immediate within day settlement it is not possible to follow positional analytical methods.
