First time lucky, I guess… the sell/short call given on SAIL achieved its target(1) today.

Thank you for your inputs. For Trade 1, as indicated in the image, I do not see a LT-LB or HB-HT combination, please clarify.

It is not mandatory to close positions the same day when the objective is only Intraday,  However, by definition, Intraday trade means no positions can be carried forward.

It becomes positional trade, if we carry forward the trade beyond a day and carry the risk of settlement/penalties and sleep.

    1. Positional analysis is not concerned about current market momentum and sentiments like in Intraday.

    2. Trades can be held more than a day to achieve the objective of a positional trade. In Intraday, all positions are closed/squared-off by the close of the day.

    3. The inputs for an Intraday trading is different than a positional trade.

    1. All markets follow their global counter parts for sentiments/effects/news. Indian markets do the same with US, ASIA & European markets for opening and closing.

    2. FIIs in India hold a considerable market share and are powerful to determine the direction of the market any given day.
