Piercing pattern is slightly similar to Engulfing but it indicates trend reversal which is good for weekly traders
The Green body should cover the previous day low
The green body should cover at least 50 % for previous day Red body
The upper tails should be small size
Above the previous day(Black) tail
Stop loss below the current tail

Candle stick help us to derive the price moment and it’s easy to identify the indicator rather than line or bar chart.
It’s a trend followed by japense and later it was accepted by western market. It is useful for short term investor or weekly traders.

The chart will shows the image like hammer and when it comes to reversal than it’s hanging man.
Hammer should appear only after significant price fall.
Lower tile should be min 2 times of body size with no upper tail or minute tail.
Body should be green (Bullish) and high trading volume is expected

Dow Theory shows only the demand and supply Zone. But, price pattern help us to identify the price moment.
Dow theory is useful for Long term investor where Price pattern is useful for short term as well long term investor.

Double bottom is a price pattern, where it used to find the bullish trend.
when we found double bottom with the interval of 1 month and it shows high volume in second bottom and crossing the neck line then we can call it as bullish trend where we need to create a long position.

It follows the doe theory but gives early signal
Identify equivalent tops/Bottoms
Duration between top and bottom should be min. 1 months
Volume should be high at second top/bottom or while crossing the neck line

It takes long duration to form, Rounding bottom because of lower volume at the stage and intervention of stronger hand.
This is a powerful patter and Reverse pattern is not encouraged.
