mahesh replied to the topic How to determine the market trend using Dow Theory? in the forum Dow Theory in Practice 8 years, 7 months ago
Market Trend can be identified using Tops and Bottoms., In an uptrend the price should follow Higher tops and Higher Bottoms and Vice versa in down trend. If many participants are active in a particular security, and the price moves significantly in one direction this was the direction in which the market anticipated continued movement.
