The HEAD and SHOULDER pattern is formed with a highest wave as head and with other two waves on the right and left side of the head which is called as right and left shoulders.,Their conditions to determine a bearish trend is that the next steeper downward slope from the right shoulder should goes beyond the neck line.,

PRICE PATTERNS are nothing but the patterns which are formed in the charts which shows us the bullish and bearish trend.,since it used to analyse the price movement it is called as price patterns.

According to price pattern.,when a pattern formed and the next steeper slope is positive upward and also reaches the reference point then its time to buy a share.,and inversely when a pattern is formed and the next steeper slope is negative downward and also reaches the reference point then its time to sell the share.,

PRICE PATTERNS are analysed within a short span of time as compared to time required to make analysis in dow theory.,and also there are different types of price patterns so there are more chances to getting a price pattern often.

The double bottom is the patterns formed at the bottom will be at the same level exactly.,Their conditions for bullish trend is that the next steeper line formed after double bottom should go beyond the next reference point.

The inverted head and shoulder is that the vice versa of head and shoulder that is inversely formed pattern.The condition to determine the bullish trend is that it should go beyond the neck line with high volume.

The flag pattern is formed with a steeper slope and continue with a rectangular sideways movement.,The conditions are it will take only less time to form and the volume should be high when it gives a breakout., both BULLISH and BEARISH flag pattern occurs.

A triangle pattern is a 5 wave pattern formed which gives us shape of a triangle.,The conditions are it should be formed within minimum of 1.5 months and the volume at last should be higher than that 5 waves volume.

The critics against DOW THEORY is that it does not suitable for intraday trading.,and its required a long time to analysis.,although it remains top of any analysis because it is so simple and it clearly indicates the bullish and bearish.

According to DOW THEORY.,
*If there is a double top formed and the next reference point C is going below the previous low.,then we should sell the shares.
*If there is a double bottom formed and the next reference point C is above the previous high.,then we should buy the shares.

By DOW THEORY.,since we can find the demand zone and supply zone.,the demand zone representing the bullish and the supply zone representing the bearish.,so that the market trend can be easily determined.,

FOR DOW THEORY.,LINE CHARTS is more suitable.
The collective period should be minimum 2 years and the duration of trend forecasting is for 2-3 months.

IF you doing a positional trading (long term) and if you are able to find the higher top and bottom and the the double top.,bottom.,the surely you can fix the target and also you can fix a stop loss to your share.
PRECISELY., the trend will makes to find bullish and bearish., so obviously the target and stop loss can be fixed.,

DOW THEORY is a theory in which he introducing a concept of demand zone and supply zone to be read at the charts.,and by which we can analyse the bullish and bearish so that we can make profit and get out from a limited loss.

RESISTANCE is created at a zone where the sellers supply is more stronger than the buyers demand.,that is resisting the increase of price and makes it keep decreasing.,,
