IPO is an acronym for “Initial Public Offering”. It is the process by which the company sells shares for the first time.
Its is filed through a stock broker and can be bought in the primary market online for a specific number of days after which the stocks are allotted in a proportionate basis to the applicants.

Share Holder: One who possess shares in a firm or a company.
Promoter: One who initiates a business idea, need not necessarily be a share holder.
Director: One who is appointed by the share holders among themselves or the one who possess highest shares to lead the the company’s interests in a positive way.
