Is Stock trading is gambling or Business? How?

Stock trading is gambling when any individual starts trading without any knowledge.

Stock trading is Business when any individual starts trading with knowledge and discipline.

When any individual does trading in stock rationally after analyzing, is termed as doing business in stock trading.

If the person trades with knowledge and discipline, its business. by which he can earn Profit(Income- expense).

If the person trades without proper knowledge its a gambling.

Stock trading is a business, if the trader does analysis , assess risk Vs reward and  prepares a trading plan for the particular stock. Then he enters the market to execute the plan and generate income(profit).

 

But without any analysis or understanding , if trading is done by pure luck factor , then it becomes a gambling.
