Buying and selling with full amount of the price of shares is called spot or cash market.
Whenever a trade happens on the current market price with a buy and a sell transaction where the cash is settled on the spot and delivery of the purchased commodity also given is a spot or cash settlement. It can happen wherever the infrastructure required is present . Equity ,commodity, currency purchases can be done in spot/cash market. The price at that particular time and place is called the spot price
Both spot market and cash market are same. Deal is done instantly and its settled on the same day. Its cash and carry business.
Spot market/xash market is the market where shares are directly purchased or sold on the same day
