What is the Pro / Cons of Equity market from traders’ perspective?

Pros: Settlement happens on the same day, long position can be created, Less risk compared to derivative instruments.

Cons: 100% investment is needed to trade, Profit/ loss will be realized only after selling the stock, Profit margin is low compared to derivative instruments.

Pros:

1.Liquidity

2.Settlement is done on the same day

Cons:

1.Need to pay full amount

2.Since settlement has to be done on the same day, short position need to be unwinded before the closing of the market.

Equity Pro:

• Income generation
• Trading are simple and easy to understand
• If we familiar with trading  we can easily earn money

Equity Con:

• More difficult to read its swing so whatever we judge may be right or wrong so it is not always possible to gain.

Cons ; Low risk when compared to futures and options and easy to understand.

Pro:

We have to pay the money now to get the share once the deal is made

I have to sell the share to make profit and in case of short positioning I have to close the deal on the same day.

Pros :

Monitoring time can be defined as per the plan.
