Why do we need stock market?

Stock market is necessary for the retail people to sell and buy shares at a common place

Stock market is a place where the buyer and the seller meets. When there’s no stock market, there’ll be no specific place/market for the buyers or the sellers to meet.

When a company first issue IPO then investors buy the stocks after that when investors think to sell so he needs a buyer so that is why we need stock exchange where buyer and seller meets and exchange and transact take place the investor cannot go to company and ask money they cannot refund so we need stock market.
