It is a trend of aggressive buying which usually in a short span of time atleast 3 months needed.
left shoulder: high in volume usually takes 1 month to form
head: very sneak and good volume
right shoulder: less volume when compared to left shoulder.
when the neck line crosses the righ shoulder then indicates the bullish trend

The bottom should be the lowest among the recent price action
The volume during Left Shoulder should be the highest
The duration should be a minimum of three months for the complete pattern
The right shoulder volume should be as low as possible
When the price crosses the neckline after the right shoulder, it is a bullish trend.February 8, 2017 at 9:01 PM #65919<span style=”color: #666666; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;”>The inverted head and shoulders pattern is a reversal pattern signaling a bottom as it occurs following a downtrend. Volume in the formation of the left shoulder is often higher than volume during the formation of the head, confirming that price is declining with less intensity, and perhaps soon will find support. As the right shoulder completes, volume often will increase with the resulting price advance back up toward the neckline. The buy signal is when price breaks above the neckline.</span>
