A share holder can be institutional. Now, is there any restrictions for these people to sell their stocks only in bulk? or these people can sell their shares with General public?
How they are different from General Public who also own the equities in the company?
An individual trader cannot be categorized as institutional trader.
The Bulk and Block deal are necessarily need to be reported to the exchange by the trading member, but it is not necessary that every high volume trade are sold or bought in bulks, some times this can be distributed in parts to retail public.
