    area gap, breakout gap, runaway gap, exhaustion gap

    area gap happens between the trading zone and gap may be filled in near term

    breakout gap break through the trading zone

    runaway gap is happens in trending zone

    exhaustion gap will open in gap but it will be filled in same day .

    Gap in a chart is essentially an empty space between one trading day and the next trading day. This (GAP) is visible only in Candle stick analysis.

    The GAP is formed when there is a large-enough difference in the opening price with reference to the closing price of the previous day and the subsequent price moves do not fall within the range of the previous trading day.

    The four types of GAP are : –

    1. Area Gap or Consolidation

    2. Break out GAP

    3. Runaway GAP

    4. Exhaustion GAP
