The difference in previous High and today’s low or vice – versa is called GAP in technical analysis.
A GAP appears due to difference in the trading range. It helps us to locate the current phase of the trend and also indicates strength.
Gap is a sign of strength of strength which is caused by the trading range which enables the trader to locate the phase of trend.
