    retail traders cannot manipulate the stock prices , but it may be done by strong hands like FII.

    Manipulation of stock is possible through Institutional Buying & selling

    I agree with you, but manipulation is not possible by stronger hand all the time or for longer duration.  Generally the stock operators manipulate stock which they can control both the management and market. Especially the penny stock or small cap companies are exposed to such manuplation

    On a daily basis NSE trades up to 25K crores. Manipulation of stocks are generally not possible in the market because of all the regulations, however strong hands can get an edge and try to manipulate in case of any insider trade.
