Hi sir,
Answering to your Question 1 :: why dow theory doesnt say duration of current trend explain?
Actually it hints the duration of current trend, each swing will have a duration of 2-3 months

Answering to your Question 2 :: what is the period of reliability?
Period of reliability – 2 months
