Good observation,but it is suggested that the lower tail in the dark cloud cover or bearish piercing pattern is small.It indicates that the sellers were ready to take the price even down, but since there was no time the market had closed.
Sorry my mistake, my sincere apologies, i didnt see the bullish engulfing pattern and instead i thought the analysis was about the bearish piercing pattern which has been recently formed.
