Head and Shoulder:
When the line chart determining the higher top in between two tops gives you the head and shoulder pattern.
Condition for bearish behavior:
When the formation of this pattern takes a duration of 3 months.
The volume should be really high at the left shoulder than the right shoulder.

Inverted Head and Shoulder:
Line chart determining one lower bottom inbetween two bottoms determine the inverted head and shoulder pattern.
Condition:
When the trend moves with high volume, it is determined as a bullish behavior.

Cup Pattern:
It is a Long gradual accumulation of the stocks which has been created by strong buyers and sellers in a steady state.
Rounding Bottom:
Rounding bottom will only be visible with cup shape and low volume.
Condition:
It will be having a low volume with longer duration to determine the Bullish tread.

The major critic of Dow theory is that, it usually takes longer time to identify the actual pattern and cannot be implemented in a shorter time interval.
It is mainly remains in the top as it is purely based on the demand and supply of a particular stock and has proven results to success.

Buying and selling:
When we identify the bullish behavior in the chart, i.e when the Demand is greater than supply, it is advisable to buy the particular stock. and when we identify the bearish behavior, i.e. when the supply is greater than the demand, sell the stock.

Dow Theory:
Dow Theory can be analysed with long duration data.
The basic analysis is done by identifying the correct Tops and the bottoms, and classifying them as higher and lower.
The Bullish behavior is identified by higher bottom and higher top. whereas, bearish behavior is identified by lower top lower bottom.

Turnover:
The average Turnover is estimated to be approximately 2.50 Lakh cr. It is really hard for anyone to manipulate the market. It can be manipulated to do it for a day but it is really hard to be sustained.
