The stock market is a place where buyers and sellers of shares meet. In India we have the BSE and NSE. When a company raises money for the first time it is through the Primary Market. Once the shares are listed it is dealt in the Secondary Market or Stock Market. It is very important that stock markets are managed in a transparent manner. Also stock markets are known as barometers of the progress of an economy.
