It is not mandatory to close the position on the same day but it is advisable to close within the day because it relies on momentum trading and the market sentiments might be different next day.

In Intraday trade price moves every second so, we cannot apply the analysis of a positional trade which usually takes a long term.

Intraday trading happens with in a day based on the new or market sentiments but positional analysis need a week or month time frame to identify price patterns

Technical indicator is a mathematical calculation based on previous data (price, volume, etc).It is different because it uses previous data to plot another curve (in Moving Average) or show a region (in RSI), etc, whereas in other analysis, the trader has to analyse from previous data.

Golden mean is the ratio between two adjacent number in the Fibonacci series. (23.6, 38.2, 61.8, 100)

Moving average is a trend indicator. When the price moves above MA it is bullish and when it goes below MA it is bearish trend. Moving average is the 21 days average price of stock .

Moving average works well in the trending period, when the price moves above the moving average we can go for long as it crosses the resistance, and when the price go below moving average, we can short and expect the price to go further down.

RSI: Relative strength index, it works in non trending period, There is two lines 30 and 70 if the price moves above 70 it is overbought and when it again touches 70 we can sell and if the price touches 30 it is oversold and again if it touches 30 we can buy the stock.

When opening price is same as closing price and an almost flat candlestick is formed with long highs and lows then this is called a DOJI. After a few bearish days if DOJI is formed then long buy signal is given. When a DOJI is formed after a few days of rally and if DOJI is formed then it is a bearish DOJI and short sell signal is given.
