Stock market basis

Stock market is a place where buyers and sellers are meet together for share trading. Once shares issued through primary market, the share holders are become the owners of the company. If they need their money back from the company they need to sell their shares to some one who looking for that company shares. Stock market helps people to buy or sell shares. Commodity market: Where we can trade gold, silver, etc. FOREX: We can trade with other countries currencies. Stock market: Where we can trade with shares (i.e. Equity, Bonds). SEBI is the separate organisation to control the Stock markets in India. Companies should have receive approval from SEBI for IPO and any complaints related to public ltd companies will be handled by SEBI. Share holders are the owners of the company. Promoter is the person or the company who established the company. Director is a single or multiple persons appointed to run/direct the company. No, share holders have no rights to ask for refund instead they can sell their shares in Secondary market. Dividends are up to the directors decision. Its not mandatory to issue dividend.
