Analysing the price volume charts of the stocks is called Technical analysis. Based on previous price movments, the way market behaved in the past we make predictions for the future trends.

  • : demand and supply drives the stock price. If demand is more, buyers are more, price move up. If supply s more, sellers is more then price go down

  • : Good and bad news affect the stock price - goes high and low respectively. Earnings if more then stock price move up. Analyst report also influences public opinion on the stock price. Eg Modi election as PM in 2014 was seen as good news and prices went high.
  • : Around 60 to 70 k crores per day turnover.
  • : Pros - all inputs are open in the pubic websites, nothing is hidden. Cons - Its only a method of learning from the past trends, it need not necessarily repeat in the future. It doesnt tel about a company as such.
  • : Because its harder to buy and sell penny stocks, lack of company info etc
  • : Line , bar and candlestick charts are the different types
  • : Candlestick charts provide a good view of opening closing price, high and low price. The view is better compared to other charts
