NIFTY TAKES A ‘NAP’

Price charts often have blank spaces known as gaps. They represent times when no shares were traded within a particular price range. Normally this occurs between the close of the market on one day and the next day’s open.Area gap occurs in a common area for both sellers and buyers. Area gap has no significance in price movements. Mostly Area gaps occur with low volume, but Area Gaps with high volume are suspicious.
