The stock market is like any other market which is primarily used by the buyers and sellers of the stock to exchange the stocks.
The stock market is a secondary market where the investors get back the invested money by exchanging the share to another buyer.
There are two stock markets in India NSE and BSE. The stock market is controlled and monitored by SEBI.
SEBI protects the interest of the investors.
The financial performance of the stock market can be mesured by the indexes. For NSE it is SENSEX an average of 30 companies and for BSE it is NIFTY an average of 50 companies.
