Spot market is the intraday equity market where trading expires within a day.
Futures and options are derivative instruments which are used for long term trading mostly when it comes in setting up of short position.
In Future market the buyer and the seller has the rights to buy and sell and also they obliged to honor their rights.
In Options the buyer has the rights to buy but he has no obligations. The seller gets a premium amount for taking the risk.
In call option the buyer has the right to buy but no obligations.
In Put option, the buyer has the right to sell but no obligations.
