    Hi,
Your Question 1 :: Input required to do fundamental analysis / pros and cons.
The main purpose of fundamental analysis is to estimate a security’s “intrinsic value” by examining a combination of qualitative and quantitative factors.
Once you have gathered and analysed all the data and have estimated the “intrinsic value” of the company then simply compare it to the security’s current price and buy if the price is below the intrinsic value and sell if the security’s current price is above the intrinsic value.
To determine the true price of the company’s stock, the following factors need to be considered.
    1. Earnings per share
    2. Profit Margins
    3. Return on Equity (ROE)
    4. Price-to-Earnings (P/E)
    5. Price-to-Book (P/B)
Pros of fundamental analysis- Good for long term investment by avoiding day to day volatility.
Cons of fundamental analysis- Fundamental factors may take a long time to playout, can’t establish accurate entry and exit strategies, Not ideal for short term trading.

Your Question 2 :: relationship of news, earning, and analyst report with stock price
Quarterly earnings reports are important financial updates in which the Stock prices tend to rise when earnings results exceed market expectations while disappointing earnings results tend to lower share prices but not sure for all scenario, because sometimes negative report may have to be changed into positive price action so, it’s all about investors sentiment likewise the same for news and report.
