There are two types of gross misconduct and they are :-
Gross misconduct differs in individual interpretations. Such dismissal without notice is often called ” summary dismissal ” .
Gross misconduct is behaviour, on the part of an employee, which is so bad that it destroys the employer/employee relationship, and merits instant dismissal without notice or pay in lieu of notice.
Meanind:
Indiscipline so serious (such as stealing, or work place violence) that it justifies the instant dismissal of an employee, even on the first occurrence.
Sentence form:
You need to make sure that you are never called out for gross misconduct or your reputation may be permanently damaged.
