Support and resistance are the concept of technical analysis where the trend reverses at a particular point of time without a breakthrough. When the falling prices began to rise after reaching a particlar point, that area is called support i.e. buyers are active to trade at that particular price for that particular stock and vise versa for resistance. Based on the various charts, data and history we determine the support and resistance.

The point where price fall gets a support in order to avoid further reduction in price is a support zone.
The point where price increase faces resistance in order to keep the price lower is resistance zone.

Support and Resistance is a concept in technical analysis that the movement of the price of a security will tend to stop and reverse at certain predetermined price levels.

Support level is a level where the price tends to find support as it is going down and Resistance level is a level where the price tends to find resistance as it is going up.
