    SEBI regulates all the activities between retail investors and stock markets, Any disputes involving retail people may be sorted out at SEBI provided it is within their legislation.

    If there’s a dispute between the buyer and the seller of the stock market, Sebi is reponsible. When a company initially wants to issue IPO, SEBI is involved and has to approve in order that the company gets the public involved in their market.

    Stock exchange board of india regulates and controls nse and bse and so that the investor feel like it is a gurantee and its mainly for investors purpose and the company should follow the rules and regulations then only it can be listed
