It is better to close the intraday position, because the next day the momentum stock may vary.

We can buy stocks for intraday in the morning and should sell it by the close of the day before 330 p.m., which is mandatory if our choice is intraday position. Since the brokers give leverage for buying intraday stocks whatever profit or loss we book should be done before 3.15 pm and after that it gets rounded off by the end of the day.

It is not mandatory to close the position on the same day but it is advisable to close within the day because it relies on momentum trading and the market sentiments might be different next day.

Due to momentum stock, it is better to close by EOD, because the price may fluctuate next day, however it’s not mandatory

It is not mandatory. However, for intraday trading we do analysis based on the particular day’s global market trend, FII activity, market sentiment etc… So if the trade is not closed by the EOD, the price may fluctuate next day and we may end up losing money.
