we cannot be trade in NIFTY, SENSEX because they both are index
but we can trade in future & options trade

NIFTY AND SENSEX are INDICES.

They are the index of avereage of selected stocks. They are traded by the contracts . Not like we can buy nifty and hold it like an asset it is not a company but an indice of the list of top companies in india and their performances.

Sensex, Nifty50 are indexes. There are 30 and 50 companies in these two indexes. We cannot trade with the index directly but indirectly through derivative products. In stockbroker, it is called Futures and Options where there are expiry months.
