@Eqsis, Isn’t triangle a continuation pattern?  In symmetrical triangle ,isn’t the breakout in the direction of the trend?

Triangle indicates the strength/aggression of both the parties (Buyers and Sellers), so the breakout may take place in any of the direction. But the volume is Key, here it is missing..
