Company Needs Stock market to raise capital through IPO (Primary Market) and the shares get traded in the secondary Market. Share Market in India in regulated by SEBI. SENSEX and NIFTY are the index of the top 30 and 50 companies respectively. Companies may declare dividend on the profits earned.
