Derivative markets – Definition and Introduction.

Derivative Market (Futures and Options) is a place where contracts of a stock are traded expecting the price to go high/low in a given time ie., the expiry date.
Here the trader gets a chance to make profits even if the prices are expected to go lower than the current market price before the expiry date. This is restricted to intraday trading in Equity market.
