Stock trading happens when a buyer of a stock meets a seller of the stock and they bargain and reach a mutually agreeable price and trade the stock. The exchange provides a common area for buyers and sellers to find each other and the brokers trade the stock at the exchange on behalf of the traders. Stock trading can be a business or gambling depending on the traders knowledge and discipline and the risk reward ratio of the trade.
